Surprisingly good bar food. Didn’t expect much, but the clam chowder and lobster roll were both excellent. The place is also spacious. Would come back again for quality bar food.
Food was fantastic. Service was wonderful. I ordered the clam chowder that was creamy and flavorful as well as the crab crusted cod that had just the right amount of food. Fish was flaky and great flavor. Wonderful dishes!
Split the lobster roll (cold) with my co-worker. I love that they split it in the kitchen. Presentation was great and the flavor was amazing! Highly recommend!
Went back in November, the waiter was super nice and helpful. But the food was phenomenal. I remember getting a scallop dish, boy do I want some right now. And my partner got a steak and he was happy with his meal as well.
We had a great group event at Bostonia celebrating students with their parents and extended families. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating before the event with setup. The event went smoothly with special requests for lighting and sound. I know of friends who have hosted similar events such as pre-wedding parties with great success. With so many interesting places nearby, Bostonia is in an ideal location to feel at center of downtown Boston. The atmosphere is a wonderful mix of classic New England architecture with modern service that makes guests of all ages feel comfortable for a wide variety of occasions. Also, during the week it’s a great place to just grab a drink.
Thank you BPH! Your clam chowder soup was the fifth bowl on my chowder crawl and it has been the best so far. That's saying a lot, all the others were good, but the BPH Chowder has a rich, deep complex/layered flavor. There is almost a toasty hint to it. The consistency is on point and the lite touch of dill is just right. The chilled lobster roll was dangerously tasty. If I lived in Boston, I'd probably bankrupt myself or die of a coronary by crushing a dozen of those luscious lobster treats every day. Stellar staff and cozy atmosphere. This restaurant was an absolute gem, especially with its lovely outdoor seating and consistently amazing food. It quickly became one of our favorite spots during our Boston visit. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the crab-crusted cod truly stole the show—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lobster roll was another highlight, packed with tender meat and done just right. Between the inviting atmosphere, great location, and standout dishes, it was a dining experience we’ll be thinking about long after the trip. Definitely a place we’d return to without hesitation.
Place was good. Food was fabulous! Lobster Mac and Cheese and Lobster Roll, plus clam chowder and mozzarella triangles. Server was rarely seen but we survived. Think he was so busy I guess. We were going to order more drinks but after food came we never saw him again. Still would go here in a heart beat for the food and the ambiance. Server wasnt bad just wasnt present.
The food and service were outstanding. Only complaint was the table next to us was loud and obnoxious but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. Our waitress, Corina, was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and filling. We had mussels, lobster Mac and cheese, and the steak. If we come back to Boston we will make a point to come back to Bostonia as well!
Amazing!!!! 10/10! Our server recommended the short rib dish and it did not disappoint. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken and Benedict! We also had the Bloody Mary bar and it was delicious. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in Boston. I can’t remember our servers name but he was super kind and helpful! Thank you for such a great experience!
